Ars Nova Workshop is thrilled to present Philadelphia-based trio led by vibraphonist Victor Vieira-Branco, Bark Culture at Solar Myth on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
“Philly-based, and with roots in the São Paulo experimental music scene, vibraphonist Victor Vieira-Branco—along with bassist John Moran and drummer Joey Sullivan—serve up melodically rich music that feels like it’s in a perpetual state of agitation. Pretty sounds are incubated in an active environment, where motion is the evolutionary force shaping events—but always with a sense of the trio aiming for a spot on the horizon.” -Bandcamp
Bark Culture is a Philadelphia-based trio led by vibraphonist Victor Vieira-Branco, featuring Joey Sullivan on drums and John Moran on bass. With over four years of immersive collaboration, the trio is known for their strong ensemble identity, high-energy live performances and extensive touring.
