About the Event
Today’s program features Tiguex (2026), directed by Raven Chacon, which documents the performance of his 20-movement musical composition over the course of one day in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A discussion with Chacon and Juana Berrío, Marsha Perelman Senior Director of Programs at Calder Gardens, will follow the screening, along with an audience Q&A.
This program is presented alongside Sky Hopinka’s site-specific installation, Red Metal Dust, on view in the Annenberg Court. Hopinka’s video, photo, and text work centers on personal perspectives of Indigenous homelands and landscapes.
